Living on the shores of Lake Superior has heightened my awareness of our natural world and the need to protect it for future generations. As a watercolor artist, I draw from the inspiration that the area brings me. In exploring the Penokee Range, I have found another gem in our region. My watercolor paintings are a celebration of what I see and how that may change with open-pit mining.
